Grégoire Lucas & Laurent Nédélec
Long before the brand came to life, Marancheville began as a story of friendship — the bond between Laurent Nédélec and Grégoire Lucas, two passionate enthusiasts whose sincere connection drove them to embark on a singular journey together: the rediscovery of forgotten treasures from the Grande Champagne terroir.
Laurent and Grégoire are not distant figures removed from their estate: they are hands-on, equally at home among the vines as in the depths of the chai. It is there, in these history-laden places, that they nurture an insatiable curiosity for aged cognacs. Their deep appreciation for rare and forgotten eaux-de-vie leads them to explore cellars where time seems to stand still, seeking to breathe new life into treasures long left in the shadows.
Over the years, this relentless pursuit of excellence, enriched by their family heritage, has grown into a clear ambition: to reveal the full richness of the Grande Champagne terroir. Every bottle of Marancheville reflects this vision — a story of patience, craftsmanship and passion.

A local story…
When Grégoire and Laurent launched the Marancheville venture in 2010, they called upon Christophe Lécrivain, designer and graphic artist, to conceive the visual identity of the brand.
His starting point: a photograph by Paul Strand, captured not far from Marancheville. This powerful image — a witness to the transformations of rural life from the 1950s onwards — encapsulates in itself a chapter of local history. Inspired by this evocative photograph, Christophe made it the cornerstone of Marancheville’s visual world. A subtle nod, woven into the design, reveals an authentic anecdote connected to this frozen moment in time — a delicate thread linking memory and modernity.
